Data Privacy Summary

Your Trust Matters: We do not sell your personal data. Your health data is stored securely using Google Firebase.

Premium & Ads: We use RevenueCat to manage subscriptions and AdMob to show ads. We do not process payments directly.

1. Information We Collect

  • Account Information: Email address, name, and profile picture (via Google or Apple Sign-In).
  • Health Profile: Age, gender, height, weight, and activity level. This data is essential to calculate your daily calorie goals (BMR).
  • Usage Data & Voice: Voice recordings (converted to text immediately), food logs, and app interaction data.
  • Subscription Data: Purchase history and subscription status (Free/Premium) to unlock specific features.
  • Device Identifiers: Advertising ID (IDFA/GAID) and device type, used primarily for app functionality and advertising.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your data strictly to provide the core functionality of the App:

  • AI Analysis: We process your voice or text inputs using Google Gemini AI to identify foods and estimate calories.
  • Premium Features: If you subscribe, we process your health data to provide Detailed Macro Analysis and personalized insights tailored to your body type.
  • Account Management: To save your progress and preferences via Firebase Authentication and Firestore.
  • Advertising: To display personalized or non-personalized advertisements via Google AdMob.
  • Improvement: We use Firebase Crashlytics to detect and fix app crashes.

3. Device Permissions

To provide our services, we may request access to:

Microphone

Used solely to record your meal descriptions when you tap the record button.

Speech Recognition

Used to convert your spoken words into text for AI analysis.

Notifications

Used to send meal reminders (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner).

Tracking (iOS)

Used to deliver more relevant advertisements (App Tracking Transparency).

4. Third-Party Services

We share data only with trusted infrastructure providers necessary to operate the App:

  • Google Firebase: For secure database hosting and authentication.
  • Google Gemini AI: For food analysis (Data is not used to train models in a way that identifies you).
  • RevenueCat: To validate receipts and manage your subscription status. We do not have access to your credit card or financial details; these are handled securely by Apple (App Store) and Google (Play Store).
  • Google AdMob: To serve advertisements. AdMob may use device identifiers to personalize ads.

5. Data Deletion

You retain full ownership of your data. You can delete your account and all associated data permanently by navigating to Settings > Delete Account within the App. This action is irreversible.
